2005 - 2006
In its first full year, Cinemuse
began regular Monday meetings and occasional trips to the Regal Theatre
for new releases. The club attempted a short film, which would later
pave the way for the Cinemuse
Productions branch.
Spring '06 Fundraiser
The "Chuck Norris Double Punches on Weekends" t-shirt sale proved to be
a success. As the buzz around the t-shirts rose to unexpected levels,
the club kept busy supplying the demand. The shirt was later
resurrected to be sold in spring 2008.
Cinemuse's First Annual
Film Festival
Following the success of bringing Pulp
Fiction to the Grafton Stoval Theatre, Cinemuse hosted three films
to the JMU and Harrisonburg communities. Dr.
Strangelove, Clerks., and Léon: The
Professional were each screened twice on three separate weekends
and were completely free to the public.
