In just over one week in October 2007, members from Cinemuse participated in both 24 and 48 hour film contests. The Briefing was made for the Apple Insomnia contest and Dead on Departure was made for the National Film Challenge's 48 hour contest, which received the award Best Use of the Road Movie Genre. Members Corbin Craft, Ryan Holman, Garrett Johnson, James Loizou, Dylan Love and Ben Nicholson led both creative efforts with members Stefan Gural, Ryan Holman and Conor O'Rourke appearing on screen.
