In the fall semester of 2006, the newly formed Cinemuse Productions established the triptych structure to allow three groups to write, direct and edit their own short films. While the films stood alone as their own stories, they were thematicaly related to each other. The club adopted a premise by Garrett Johnson, which focused on three very different relationships: a young couple, an old friendship and two brothers. Auditions were held in January and the production ended in March. The third piece, Cinema Interruptus, was selected for and showcased in UPB's annual student film festival.
